Court Actions

The United States has obtained an injunction against Hansen for promoting false tax schemes, and the injunction has been affirmed on appeal to the Ninth Circuit. United States v. Christopher M. Hansen, No. 06-56011 (9th Cir. 5/6/2008) (sanctions of $8,000 imposed for frivolous appeal), aff'ng No. CV-05-00921-MJL/CAB (U.S.D.C. S.D.Cal. 12/13/2006). It appears from Hansen's web sites that he has not complied with the injunction, and the government filed a motion for civil contempt which was denied for procedural reasons and without prejudice.
